Classes/Workshops

The Gleanings Foundation offers classes on an ongoing basis, such as:

 

QiGong - an ancient Chinese exercise of which Tai Chi is a form, involving sets of breathing and movements that can balance and enhance physical, metabolic and mental functions. These classes are taught by Patricia Johnson, MD.

Stress Reduction Classes - offer ways to reduce stress levels in your everyday life by understanding how certain belief patterns cause imbalances that result in illness. Taught by Nina Zimbelman.

 

Parkinson's Support Group - offered by Patricia Johnson, MD meets each month for the purpose of giving Parkinson's patients and their caregivers an opportunity to share their experiences of living with Parkinson's.

 

Consciousness Classes - led by Nina Zimbelman, ask each person to define, recognize and address the areas of their lives where they are not fully conscious. This exercise lends the opportunity to see where we allow our thoughts to go into the past or the future, not being present in the moment.
